Now she looks back and sees that she changed alot on the way to the top. The song is somewhat of an apology to her "old Nicki" She feels sorry for herself for just dumping her to get the big money. She doesn't like the person that she's become and she wished she hadn't sold herself to the entertainment industry, she knows she can do better things for herself but she just doesn't want to or just doesn't know how to so she's searching for an answer.
